Live mistake fares
Cards marked ✓ Live-checked were re-priced by us before posting; the rest were found by travellers on Aviasales today. They rarely last more than a day, so check the final price before you pay.
Rare deals
Fares at least 40% below what the route normally costs. They look like sales rather than mistakes, so airlines are unlikely to cancel them, but they go fast.
Spotted, not confirmed
Very low prices other travellers found in Aviasales searches, often from smaller travel agencies. These prices are saved from recent searches, not checked live by us, so they may have changed or come with conditions. Check the final price and the seller before you pay.
Cheapest fares right now
Not mistakes: the lowest regular fares we're seeing today, compared with what each route normally costs that month.
Oreo's core routes
Magenta lines are live mistake fares and rare deals; grey lines are our core routes, re-priced live every month. On top of these we check every destination from our departure airports around the clock.
What normal costs
Typical fares on every route we watch, learned from the prices we check each day. Use it to tell a real bargain from a routine sale.
How a fare gets here
We scan
Every 15 minutes we check prices travellers are finding from 21 airports in Canada and the US to every destination, six months ahead: one-way fares and round trips of 5 to 14 nights.
We compare
Each fare is measured against what that route normally costs in that month, for that kind of trip. Anything under 60% of normal is pulled aside.
We post, then re-check
Deep fares found that day are posted straight away: under 35% of normal as Mistake fares, up to 60% as Rare deals. We then re-price them live where we can; the ones that hold up get a ✓ Live-checked tag, and fares that disappear are taken down.

- Airlines can cancel a mistake fare. Wait a week or two before booking hotels or anything you can't refund.
- Don't call the airline to ask about the price. It is the fastest way to get it pulled.
- Each price says whether it is one-way or a round trip. Prices are approximate and can change within minutes.
